The Skoda Fabia Is Insurance Group 3

I was looking for a new car and was interested in the Skoda Fabia. My old car was quite old and worn out and I felt it was time I replaced it with something new, modern and comfortable. I had already managed to sell my old car quite quickly so was in urgent need of a replacement as public transport doesn’t fit in well with my busy schedule very well.

I went onto the internet and put  into a search engine to see what i had on offer to me in relation to where I live. I wanted one quite quickly so didn’t want to have travel far or wait for a delivery of one from somewhere quite far away.

It came up with one available to buy from a local Skoda dealership near where I live in Oxford.  I went in and spoke to a salesman.

When I looked online I saw that the model I was looking at starts from £9,880. I found this to be very good value for what I was looking at.

I did some research and found it comes into insurance group 3. This was a good surprise as it meant it wouldn’t be too costly for me to insure.

The base models are very cheap to insure, whilst the higher specification versions are above average to insure due to the nature of their engines.

Skoda Fabia emissions (CO2) are 89 g/km. Due to the lower the CO2 output the car tax is lower and therefore so is the environmental impact.  This impressed me as I am very conscious of the impact any car I use or own has on the environment.
